Lenka has guided polar bear viewing trips in Churchill, Manitoba for the past three years. She has also guided grizzly and black bear viewing trips in Knight Inlet, British Columbia for the past five years. Born in Prague, Czech Republic, she used her degree in environmental chemistry to monitor air quality in Eastern Europe and held the title of National champion long-distance kayaker. As well as being fluent in English, Czech and Dutch, Lenka is an avid outdoorswoman, kayak guide, rock climber, ski patroller, and a self-taught naturalist and photographer. She presently resides in Campbell River, British Columbia.
