Jamie has always resided on Vancouver Island and currently calls the city of Victoria home. A recent graduate of the University of Victoria, he has earned a Bachelor's degree with majors in biology and chemistry. For the past four years, Jamie has been a naturalist at Knight Inlet Lodge on the west coast of British Columbia working primarily with grizzly and black bears. As well, Jamie has worked with many marine animals that inhabit the coastal waters of British Columbia, including the famous killer whales. The 2002 season in Churchill, Manitoba was his first experience with polar bears and he can't wait to get the magnificent polar bears back in front of his lens!
